Mahomet-Seymour Junior High’s Mady Marx adds more than great times to this year’s track and field team.

“She always comes to practice with a smile and is always encouraging others to do well,” Nichole Jessup said. “I just wish I had more than one year of coaching Mady.  She will have an amazing future in high school.”

Marx is the anchor for the 4 x 200 and 4 x 400, but as a budding runner, she recently competed in the 200, finishing .2 seconds off the school record. Currently, she is also only one second off the school record in the 400.
