Mahomet-Seymour senior CJ Shoaf is currently leading the nation’s high jumpers.
After breaking his own school record at 6’10” in Feb. 2020, Shoaf recently cleared 2.09 meters, or 6’10.3″, on Jan. 24. Clearing that height put Shoaf in front of all high school high jumpers in the nation.
Shoaf ranked fifth during the 2020 indoor season.
Like the rest of the Mahomet-Seymour track and field athletes, Shoaf is awaiting an April 5 track and field start date.
