Braeden Heinold picked up his 35th win of the season in an Apollo Conference meet which also included Mount Zion and Mattoon.Heinold won twice in that dual meet.
The 5’10”, 150-lb. Senior picked up his 100th-career win with a fall over his opponent at Lincoln.
This season’s highlights include placing second in the 60th Red Schmitt Wrestling Tournament, pinning five opponents in the first period. He went undefeated with three first-period pins at Pekin Super Duals and in an early-season trip to Sidney, Montana.
Heinold, along with fellow seniors, were recognized earlier this week.
