After leading Mahomet-Seymour’s Golf team in the fall of 2021, Ainsley Winters earned the IHSA Class 1A Regional title Thursday.
Winters shot a 75, including two biridies and 6 pars on the last 10 holes, ending the round at 3 over par at Lincolnshire Fields Country Club.
Her score helped the Bulldogs capture their first Regional title since 2014, edging out Paris’ 410 with a score of 370.
Winters’ final score was her best on an 18-hole course this season.
