American Legion Post raising money for flags around town

The American Legion Post 1015 is raising money to replace several flags on light poles along Main St. and Eastwood Dr. in Mahomet that have become tattered over the years.

The Legion has already replaced two flags, one is located by the Village Administration Building. The new flags will be 3’x5′.

Donations for the flags are being accepted through the Legion and can be mailed to PO Box 494
Mahomet, IL 61853.

Each flag costs $45 and includes the flag, pole, and bracket. The Legion is trying to replace 30 flags.
