Junior Avery Allen recorded her second double-double of the week on Thursday (Sept. 29), posting 13 kills and 11 digs as Mahomet-Seymour swept past Mattoon, 26-24, 25-13, in Mattoon.

Caylee Folken distributed 14 assists. Allen also had one block and one service ace.

M-S (17-3) returns to action on Tuesday (Oct. 4) at home against Mount Zion.

The Bulldogs’ underclassmen teams continued their winning ways at Mattoon. The junior varsity squad was victorious, 25-17, 25-20, and the freshmen also earned a sweep, 21-10, 21-9.
