Avery Allen slammed nine kills and teammate Haylie Orton delivered six kills on Tuesday (Aug. 31) as the Mahomet-Seymour volleyball team posted a two-set sweep at Urbana, 25-12, 25-13.

Allen served three aces and Orton had one ace.

In the freshmen match, M-S prevailed, 25-9, 25-13.

M-S (2-0) opens the home portion of its schedule on Thursday (Sept. 2) against Lincoln. It will also serve as the Bulldogs’ Apollo Conference opener.
