MSHS Senior Student/ Athlete Sarah Hohenstein has committed to play her intercollegiate Soccer at Parkland College. Located in Champaign, Illinois Parkland College competes as a Division I Member of the National Junior College Athletic Association and as a member of the 9-team Mid-West Athletic Conference.
Hohenstein is a four – year Varsity Letter Winner for the Bulldogs who was an IHSSCA All-Section Honorable Mention selection in 2017. Sarah has posted a career .948 goals against average while recording 36 career shut-outs and backstopping the Bulldogs to 3 consecutive I.H.S.A. Class 2A Regional Team Titles. This season Sarah has posted a .632 goals against average while recording 12 shut-outs.
Sarah is the daughter of Jason Hohenstein of Mahomet and plans to major in kinesiology.
