May Day Celebration May 7
The Museum of the Grand Prairie will hold its annual May Day Celebration on Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m.
“May Day is an interesting intersection of culture and nature,” said Public Program and Visitor Services Coordinator Kaitlyn Riopelle. “The mission of the museum is to combine cultural and natural history, and this event seems like the perfect way to bring them together. We also wanted something fun to do in the spring.”
This free celebration will include May Pole dancing with the Champaign Urbana English Country Dancers, spring crafts and music. This event is free and open to the public.
