Ava Yeakel Leads Mahomet-Seymour Volleyball to Victory Over Effingham, Extending Win Streak to Five

Ava Yeakel posted 11 kills and eight digs while teammate Hannah Martin produced four kills and three blocks on Tuesday (Sept. 24) as the Mahomet-Seymour volleyball team topped Effingham at home, 25-19, 25-19.

The Bulldogs have won five consecutive matches and 14 of their last 15.

The M-S junior varsity fell to Effingham, 27-25, 25-17. The Bulldogs’ freshmen squad was victorious, 21-17, 21-18.

M-S (15-2 overall and 4-0 in Apollo Conference matches) returns to action on Thursday (Sept. 26) at Charleston.
