Bulldogs Dominate Champaign County Golf Tournament, Sweep Top Honors with Six All-County Performances

Mahomet-Seymour’s boys’ golf team dominated the field on Monday (Sept. 16) in the Champaign County Tournament at Lincolnshire Fields Country Club.
All six Bulldog competitors earned all-County accolades based on their top 10 performances.
Sharing medalist honors, with 75s, were M-S teammates Carter Henrikson and Jacob Schoudel.
Bulldogs Kelton Hennesy and Cole Thrasher tied for fourth with 79s.
Ending in a tie for seventh, with 80s, were Jackson Bohm and Reis Claybrooke.
The cumulative M-S score was 308, which produced a 28-stroke triumph over runner-up Champaign Central.
The Bulldogs return to action on Thursday (Sept. 19) at Willow Pond Golf Course, in Rantoul.
