Mahomet-Seymour’s No. 1 Doubles Team Shines Despite Loss to St. Thomas More

A win by Mahomet-Seymour’s No. 1 doubles team on Monday (May 6) highlighted the Bulldogs home meet against St. Thomas More, a 6-3 loss.

Jacob Atteberry and Caleb Bushue teamed up for a 4-6, 6-4, 11-9 triumph.

The other M-S wins were in singles, including at No. 6 where unbeaten freshman Samuel Lunney captured a 6-4, 6-1 win. Lunney has an 8-0 season record.

Also winning in singles for the Bulldogs was Bushue at No. 2, 6-3, 6-2.

M-S (3-5) will return to action on Wednesday (May 8) at Charleston.
