Mahomet-Seymour Tennis Narrowly Defeated at Casey-Westfield Despite Strong Singles and Doubles Wins

Mahomet-Seymour won two matches in singles and two in doubles on Thursday (April 25), but dropped a 5-4 decision at Casey-Westfield.

At No. 1 singles, Bulldog Jacob Atteberry posted a 6-4, 6-4 decision over Brian Wright.

At No. 6 singles, unbeaten Samuel Lunney was triumphant, 6-4, 6-2, over Sam Daughhtee.

In doubles, the No. 1 duo of Atteberry and Caleb Bushue posted a 6-2, 6-4 decision over Owen Richardson and Logan Cribelar.

At No. 3 doubles, M-S’ entry of Elliott Religioso and Caidan Kogut prevailed, 6-2, 6-2, over Wright and Alex Hancock.

M-S (2-4) returns to action on Tuesday (April 30) at home against Taylorville.
