Mahomet-Seymour volleyball wins two of three at Bulldog Invitational

Both of Mahomet-Seymour’s volleyball teams have 5-3 overall records.

The eighth-grade Bulldogs lost at home to Normal Chiddix (25-18, 22-25, 25-12) on Thursday (Jan. 11) and then scored a 25-14, 25-6 win over Urbana on Tuesday (Jan. 16).

In the Bulldog Invitational on Saturday (Jan. 20), M-S defeated Charleston (25-15, 25-10)  and Tolono Unity (25-10, 25-12), but lost to Monticello (24-26, 25-21, 16-14).

The seventh-grade Bulldogs were beaten by Chiddix (25-18, 25-9), but beat Urbana, Charleston and Tolono Unity before losing to Monticello.

Both M-S teams return to action on Thursday (Feb. 1) at home against Normal Parkside.
