Mahomet-Seymour sophomore Auggie Gaudio finished in 85th place on Saturday (Nov. 4) in the boys’ Class 2A IHSA cross-country state meet at Detweiller Park, in Peoria.
His 3-mile time was 15 minutes, 45.22 seconds. There were 236 runners who finished the race.
Marion (112 points) garnered the team crown. Other leaders in the 28-school meet were Glenbard South (173 points), Chicago Payton (200 points) and Maple Park Kaneland (220 points).
There were 28 full teams at state.
