Paris ends Mahomet-Seymour’s three-game win streak

Mahomet-Seymour’s three-game softball winning streak came to an end on Wednesday (April 26) with a 14-2 loss at Paris.
The Bulldogs were limited to four hits, including Madeleine Cortez’s second home run of the season. Teammates with hits were Ava Henderson, Kayla McKinney and Sydney Ward.
Madelyn Logsdon drove in McKinney for the other M-S run.
On Tuesday (April 25), the Bulldogs captured a 6-5 win at Normal Community.
Ward recorded two hits. Henderson and Logsdon collected two RBI apiece and Jenna Wade drove in a run for the fifth consecutive game. Kenadi Granadino tallied two runs.
Henderson pitched a seven-inning complete game and picked up the win. She allowed seven hits and two walks, and registered two strikeouts.
M-S (7-11) returns to action on Thursday (April 27) at home against St. Joseph-Ogden (18-7).
