Bloomington defeats Mahomet-Seymour softball

Mahomet-Seymour leadoff hitter Kenadi Granadino drew walks on all four plate appearances on Thursday (March 30) and scored two runs, but the Bulldogs’ softball team dropped a 6-4 decision at home to Bloomington.

Granadino scored runs in the bottom of the third and the bottom of the seventh innings.

Madelyn Logsdon punched two of the M-S hits. Teammate Madeleine Cortez drove in two runs.

Ava Henderson pitched all seven innings for the Bulldogs, but did not allow an earned run. She walked one batter and struck out four.

M-S (0-3) returns to action at 4 p.m. on Tuesday (April 4) at home against Lincoln.
