Four Mahomet-Seymour football players rank among the state’s top 25 individuals in various statistical categories, according to Maxpreps.
Senior kicker Kyle Walmer is second in extra points made with 43, third in scoring by a kicker with 46 and second in total yards for kickoffs with 2,622 yards on 56 attempts (46.8 average).
Senior Quenton Rogers ranks 11th in receiving yards (663) and 23rd in total points (84).
Senior Wyatt Bohm is 14th in passing yards (1,433).
Junior Luke Johnson stands 15th in rushing yards (876).
All rankings are through seven games.
The Bulldogs (7-0) are ranked third in Class 5A again this week and return to action on Friday (Oct. 14) at Mattoon.
