Mahomet-Seymour Facilities Survey

The Mahomet Daily has published the following survey to

  1. Gather insight into why Mahomet-Seymour voters rejected or supported the June 28 referendum for $97.9 million.
  2. To provide a space for Mahomet-Seymour constituents to give feedback and insight into what they would support in a referendum.

The Mahomet-Seymour board of education will put forth a $59.4 million referendum on the Nov. 8 midterm ballot. That money will be used to build a junior high school south of the Middletown Prairie Elementary property, should it pass.

In August, the board recognized the chance the Nov. 8 referendum could fail, and said they would discuss plans should that possibility become a reality on Sept. 12.

The information gathered in this survey will be published prior to that meeting on Sept. 12. The survey will close at 5 p.m. on Sept. 9 to provide the results.
