Athlete of the Week: Wyatt Bohm

Led by Junior Quarterback Wyatt Bohm, the Mahomet-Seymour football team is undefeated four games into the 2021 season.
Kicking off the season at Canton, Bohm completed 14 of 23 passes for 279 yards and contributed to three touchdowns.
Bohm improved to passing for 285 yards in a 37-7 win over Effingham a week later. He completed 16 of 30 passes, including two scoring strikes to Quenton Rogers.
Sitting at what would be considered 15th in Class 5A, Mahomet-Seymour took down 7th ranked Mount Zion 35-27 in their home-opener. Bohm completed 11 of 22 passes for 157 yards connecting with five receivers, tossing a touchdown pass to Dream Eagle.
The Bulldog offense continued to control the field in a 53-22 win over Apollo Conference rival Lincoln on Sep. 17. Bohm passed for 309 passing yards, completing 13 of 20 passes.
Mahomet-Seymour is back on the road at Charleston next week. They will then travel to Quincy Notre Dame and Taylorville.
