Congratulations to Herrah Zainab Hussain, Mahomet-Seymour High School Class of 2013. Herrah has worked incredibly hard and on June 12th, 2021 she earned her Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Northwestern University!
After Herrah graduated from Mahomet-Seymour she decided to go to Loyola University for her undergraduate degree. It didn’t take long after she graduated for her to decide that she wanted to keep going. While she was working full-time as a paralegal she took courses to complete her Master’s program.
I believe it takes a village to raise a child. To the Mahomet-Seymour teachers, community, family and friends, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Herrah wouldn’t be where she is today if she didn’t have all of your support.
Herrah has countless great qualities, but her best quality is her determination and perseverance. If she is committed to a goal, she works hard to make it happen.
