Mahomet-Seymour Junior High Volleyball to begin Regional play

The top-seeded Bulldogs (11-1) will end a 10-day layoff on Saturday (March 13) in the semifinals of a Class 4A IESA regional tournament which it will host.

M-S will open tournament play against either fourth-seeded Charleston or fifth-seeded Mattoon, who play in a Friday (March 12) quarterfinal match. Both possible opponents are the last two the Bulldogs played to end the regular season. M-S won each of those matches in straight sets.

Ten of the Bulldogs’ wins this season have been in two-set sweeps.
