The Village of Mahomet will begin limb and brush collection on Oct. 5. The collection will run until Oct. 9.

Materials are to be deposited within three (3) feet of a curb or street edge no later than 7:00 a.m. on the scheduled collection day – Area 1 on Monday, Area 2 on Tuesday, Area 3 on Wednesday, Area 4 on Thursday, and Area 5 on Friday. Absolutely no material may be placed in the street.

Brush & Limb Drop-Off at the Transportation/Parks & Rec Building, 218 S. Lake of the Woods Road, will be availabe from 8 am –noon on Oct. 17 and Nov. 21.

BRUSH/TREE LIMB COLLECTION PROGRAM

ACCEPTABLE MATERIALS:
• Shrub/Tree limbs no longer than five (5) feet in
length and no greater than six (6) inches in
diameter.
• Woody stems and dried perennial plant debris
greater than one (1) foot in length.

UNACCEPTABLE MATERIALS:
• Soil
• Grass/Sod
• Hedge Apples
• Bundled Materials
• Construction Debris
• Flocked Christmas Trees

Village of Mahomet leaf collection will begin on Oct. 12, and will continue Monday-Friday until Nov. 25.

Collection will not take place on holidays Nov. 11, 25 and 26.

• Pine needles and pine cones.
