Museum of the Grand Prairie to host virtual Museum tour on March 27
The Museum of the Grand Prairie will host a virtual Night at the Museum on March 27 from 7 to 8 p.m.
A Facebook event that went out today encourages people to join from the Museum of the Grand Prairie Facebook page as they broadcast a live tour of “The Grand Prairie Story” exhibit.
“Each of us has our own story, a story of living here–on the verge of the Grand Prairie,” the Event page says. “Our stories inform our lives and the lives of those around us. Using previously shot in-depth video of the exhibit and live narration, virtually visit with us to hear stories of our natural world, Native Americans, settlers, farmers, city folk, Irish, Germans, African Americans, and more. Reflect on how the stories of others are similar to, or different from your own. “
