Dear Editor,
I am writing to encourage your readers to vote for Colleen Schultz in the upcoming school board election. I have known Colleen for over ten years. She holds a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Illinois and has been a professor there for 20 years. She is also a devoted wife, caring mother, and faithful friend.
Colleen will be an excellent addition to the M-S school board. She is fair-minded and willing to listen to another person’s point of view and then thoughtfully reason through a situation. Colleen is a highly ethical person. She would never be a party to anything that isn’t 100% lawful, fair and transparent. With her on this board the citizens of Mahomet will have someone they can bring their questions to and actually receive answers. As an involved parent she is fully invested in doing what is best for our children and this school district.
Mahomet-Seymour needs the fresh ideas, perspective, and energy Colleen Schultz will bring to its school board. Please vote for Colleen for the school board on Tuesday, April 2. The Mahomet-Seymour school board needs to change. Vote for a new direction. Vote for Colleen.
