The M-S school board approved plans for a 1-to-1 initiative in grades 6 through 12 at the March 12, 2018 meeting.
Parents of all 2018-2019 Mahomet-Seymour students should expect registration fee increases to pay for the Chromebooks.
The fee increase will include an additional $25 for grades K-5, bringing the registration total to $110. The junior high and high school registration will increase by $50, bringing the total for grades 6-8 to $135 and for high school to $170.
The district will host two 1-to-1 informational meetings on Monday, April 30 and Tuesday, May 1 at 6:00 p.m. in the Mahomet-Seymour HS Auditorium to learn about the device, how your child will receive it, security features on the device and network and expectations for use and care both in and out of the classroom.
