Home Builders Association of East Central Illinois announces Renee Pride as New Executive Director
(Champaign)—The Homebuilders Association of East Central Illinois is pleased to announce Renee Pride as its new Executive Director. Pride brings an extensive background in real estate and began her new position in August as an interim solution to previous Director Terry Greene’s relocation to Tennessee. After several months of gaining knowledge on the full scope of the Association she committed full-fledged to the Strategic Plan laid out by the Board of Directors and is very excited about our future.
“As a member of the Association for the past several years, it’s an honor to be chosen to serve in this position – the work of the Homebuilders Association is needed more now than ever,” Pride said. Pride plans to use her marketing background to bring the HBAECI closer to the community and let people know more about what we do and how they can benefit. Part of the 2016 plan is to transform our website and outreach materials to interact more with the public as well as our members. “I found a fondness towards real estate at a young age hearing stories of both grandparents investing in the industry (her great-grandfather was also a builder in Champaign County). This is a very unique opportunity for me and I am thrilled to take on the challenge as well as learn yet another facet of the real estate industry.”

Pride currently owns Reallustrations – a premier real estate marketing firm specializing in professional photography, videography & virtual tours. Thanks to her team of devoted professionals she will continue to provide these services to the local market. Prior to this she was the Director of Agent Services with Coldwell Banker Honig-Bell (Devonshire), managing services and training opportunities to nearly 800 real estate agents. Renee and her husband, Kenneth, and daughter, Bristol, reside in Mahomet and enjoy everything Central Illinois living has to offer.
