Mahomet Christmas Light Guide

*This Christmas Light Guide does not include all Christmas Light Displays. The displays on this map are Mahomet’s iconic displays. If one has been missed, please let us know and we will do our best to add a short description this year, and will try to write a story next year.

Mabery Gelvin Botanical Garden

Check out the beautiful Mabery Gelvin Botanical Garden decorated for the holidays as it brims with light! This is a free event!

Pine Tree Subdivision

Mahomet’s best kept secret Christmas light display. Travel south on 47 (toward Seymour), turn right at the Pig Sign (CR 1900 N). When you get to CR 150 E, turn right (north) and then take the first entrance into Pine Tree Subdivision (Lake Rd). Near the back of the subdivision, you will see a roof with “Merry Christmas” written in lights. The yard is covered with a light display that continues to grow each year!

206 N Spruce Dr (Superhero Display)

In 2016, Joe Dodge spent the year cutting out and painting life-sized superheros on his days off work. This display covers the entire front yard, and brings smiles and wonder to everyone who drives by.

106 Red Bud Ct (Light Display with Music)

Jason Hodges added to the Christmas Light scene by adding music to his light display. Tune your radio to 88.9 fm when sitting in front of the home. Enjoy the light show while also singing to your favorite Christmas tunes.

Timberview Drive (The Griswold’s)

It’s the light display that has been begging visitors to come to Mahomet for decades. With Alvin and the Chipmunks caroling and lights that now stretch up and down Timberview, the Schoonovers have created memories for hundreds throughout the years.

205 E State St

The Yancy family has taken a family tradition of decorating for the holidays and created a spectacle that Mahomet residents enjoy seeing on their way to and from school. This display is always growing and changing as the Yancy’s use their creative energy to make something special for everyone.

102 Jennifer Drive

After collecting Christmas decorations for 15 years, this display will bring you back to the good-ol-times, and keep everyone searching for their favorite characters.
