Middletown Prairie Elementary School Supply List

Middletown Prairie Elementary students will need the following supplies upon arriving to school on August 16.

Kindergarten Supply List
Please do not label supplies as they will be collected and put into a class supply.
2 Crayola washable watercolor paints (not tempra or finger paint)
6 boxes of Crayola 24-pack regular crayons (no jumbo/large crayons)
1 pkg. Expo brand dry-erase markers
3 boxes Crayola classic color markers
10 Elmer’s white glue sticks
1– 4 oz. bottles white Elmer’s glue
1 pair children’s Fiskars scissors
2 large boxes of tissues
1 container of wet wipes
3 containers of Clorox/Lysol disinfecting wipes
1 ream of white printer paper (500 sheets)
1 – 4 pack of Play-Doh
1- Composition Book (plain color cover, no characters)
headphones, labeled with name (no earbuds or volume control)
oversized t-shirt, labeled with name (for art)
extra set of clothes, including socks and underwear (labeled in Ziploc bag)
BOYS – one gallon freezer zipper plastic bags
GIRLS – one quart freezer zipper plastic bags

Each child will need to bring a book bag (labeled with student’s name) to school each
day. The bag will need to be large enough for a pocket folder to fit inside. Please do not
send a book bag on wheels. It will not fit into your student’s cubby.

Optional: These are items we use throughout the year. We appreciate your help in
providing these supplies in our classrooms.
– Lysol aerosol disinfectant spray
– Two-gallon Ziploc bags
– Sandwich size Ziploc bags
– Paper plates (all sizes)
– Paper napkins
– Paper towels
– White lunch bags
– Small paper or plastic disposable cups
– Leftover stationery, old business letterhead, cards or envelopes

First Grade

-Backpack, NO BACKPACKS ON WHEELS, PLEASE
(1)Small school supply box/pencil box(plastic)
(2) Boxes of Crayola crayons – 24 regular
(2) Crayola Broad line Watercolor Markers – WASHABLE. Classic colors such as red, blue, green, etc.
(1) Pack Crayola colored pencils
(10 or more) Glue Sticks white
GIRLS bring (2 or more) Large pink Papermate brand erasers
BOYS bring: (36) standard yellow pencils #2 (Ticonderoga brand preferred, sharpened)
Fiskars scissors (left-handed if your child cuts with a left hand)
Tissues (2 boxes or more)
Shirt for art (A large t-shirt seems to work best.)
(2 or more) containers Clorox brand anti-bacterial wipes for cleaning surfaces
Gym shoes are needed for physical education class and ABL
Headphones (no earbuds) for computer
(4) Black Expo dry erase markers
Two pocket folder with brads (1) red, (1) green (1) yellow and (1) blue

*Year-long, appreciated donations: Liquid hand soap, paper plates (large & small), paper towels, Dixie cups, glue sticks, additional Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer, ziplock bags, cardstock (white or multi-colored), paper towels, glitter, stickers, fancy writing utensils for centers.

Second Grade

Please put your child’s name on each item.

(2) Packages of 8 watercolors (Crayola brand preferred)
(2) Large erasers
(36) #2 Ticonderoga brand pencils (no plastic covered pencils, please)
(3) Wide ruled spiral 70 sheet notebooks
Scissors
(2) Tissues (large boxes)
(1) Package of Ziploc Bags (girls bring gallon size; boys bring sandwich size)
(2) Containers Clorox or Lysol anti-bacterial wipes
(1) Composition Notebook
(4) Expo dry erase markers – black
Headphones or earbuds
Gym shoes are needed for PE
Shirt for Art (a large T-shirt works well)
