Mahomet-Seymour golf cards best 9-hole score this season against Heyworth

Mahomet-Seymour’s girls’ golf team recorded its best  nine-hole score of the season – 185 – against Heyworth on Tuesday (Aug. 30) at Lake of the Woods.

Ainsley Winters carded a 42 and was the meet’s medalist.

She was supported by Kayla McKinney (44), Maddy Clark (47), Brooke Hartman (52), Alaina Jared (54) and Sydney Carleton (54).

M-S (6-0) returns to action on Tuesday (Sept. 6) in the combined Champaign County and Piatt County meet.
