Ivie Juarez’s first double-double of the season lifted the unbeaten Mahomet-Seymour girls’ basketball team to its sixth consecutive victory on Tuesday (Nov. 30), 65-45, at Bloomington Central Catholic.
M-S led, 19-10, after one quarter.
Juarez put up 16 points and 10 rebounds. Teammate Chloe Pruitt narrowly missed a double-double, finishing with 13 points and eight rebounds.
Cayla Korner contributed 10 points to go along with five steals. Nichole Taylor cleared four rebounds.
M-S (6-0) will play its home-opener and Apollo Conference opener on Friday (Dec. 3) against Mount Zion.
