MSHS Chess team wins Eastern division of the Central Illinois Chess League

The Mahomet-Seymour High School chess team defeated Mattoon in two matches 31.5-26.5 and 41-17 to win the Eastern division of the Central Illinois Chess League at Mahomet-Seymour High School Thursday night.

Nick Marrow led all players with 5 wins and a draw.

On 3rd board, Tony Huang was 2-0-0.
On 4th board, Jonah Singer was 0-2-0.

On 6th board, Logan Weiss was 2-0-0.
