Parkland College extends spring break, begin online instruction March 30

Parkland College spring break has been extended by one week, with instruction resuming March 30. This allows faculty an additional week to reformat instruction for online delivery and for support services to transition to a remote format.

All instructional delivery will be conducted online through Cobra Learning. There will be no in-person lab sessions, studios, or testing.

The college will not close. However, where possible, support services will be delivered remotely. No employee will go without pay due to these measures.

As of 3/15/2020: The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) announced that 93 individuals in 13 counties have tested positive at the IDPH laboratory for coronavirus disease, one of whom is in Champaign County.
