The Bulldog boy’s soccer team was victorious in their inaugural Apollo conference game, defeating Mt. Zion 3-1 to open their invitational.

Ethan Mansfield started the scoring early, assisted by Trevor Burgess. Nine minutes later, Burgess was able to find Austin Carr to give the Bulldogs a 2-0 lead. Ethan Mansfield was able to finish the game with an unassisted goal to give the Bulldogs a 3-1 lead. David Ejeh picked up a goal for the Braves.

The championship was a closely contested affair.

The Bulldogs opened the game with a penalty kick from Brandon Bussman to give them an early lead. Washington was able to bounce back and bring it to half at a 1-1 draw. With under two minutes to go, Ethan Mansfield was able to create an opportunity on the top of the box and dished it off to Trevor Burgess who was able to put it in the side netting from outside the 18. The goal was enough to crown the Bulldogs the Champions with a 2-1 victory over Washington.
