Mahomet-Seymour managed one goal in two matches on Saturday and was able to salvage a split in its own four-team tournament at Middletown Field.
After losing to Washington, 3-0, in the semifinals, M-S blanked Mount Zion 1-0 in the third-place match.
Andre Grace scored the Bulldogs’ lone goal, assisted by Anthony Ramirez.
M-S (2-1) returns to action on Tuesday (Aug. 31) with its Apollo Conference opener at Mount Zion.
