Ainsley Winters season-best leads Bulldog golf to victory

Medalist Ainsley Winters led the Mahomet-Seymour girls’ golf team to victory on Thursday (Sept.10) in a three-school meet at Decatur’s South Side Country Club.
Winters fired a season-best 45.
M-S’ team composite score was 215. Runner-up Mount Zion totaled a 219 and third-place Lincoln finished at 256.
Two other Bulldogs, Gaby Davis and Emma Yates, tied for fifth place individually after carding 56s.
Other Bulldog participants were: Emma Dallas (58), Maddy Clark (64) and Kayla McKinney (66).
M-S (3-2) returns to action on Tuesday (Sept. 15) at Mattoon.
