Bulldog Volleyball remains unbeaten in Apollo Conference

The Bulldogs remained unbeaten in Apollo Conference matches with a two-set sweep on Saturday (March 27) at Lincoln.

Ainsley Ranstead had seven kills, eight digs and seven aces in M-S’ 25-18, 25-17 triumph.

Maddie Gaede contributed seven assists, two blocks and two aces.

M-S is off to a 5-0 start in league play.

On Thursday (March 25), the Bulldogs overpowered visiting Effingham, 25-9, 25-19.

Caylee Folken dished out 12 assists.

Josie Hess (eight digs) and Ranstead (five kills and three digs) were other team leaders.

M-S (5-2 overall) returns to action on Tuesday (March 30) at Charleston.

The M-S junior varsity team also swept Effingham, 25-14, 25-21 and rallied to beat Lincoln, 9-25, 25-20, 15-13.
